Today, we will introduce "10eyevan", which will be added to the brand list from the first day of opening.

10eyevan started development in 2017.

Hirotaka Nakagawa, the designer of the design team, develops eyewear that embodies purely beautiful design and functionality based on his own aesthetic sense, based on the concept of "beautiful tools."

Based on the idea that "a beautiful tool is a collection of beautiful parts," we carefully examine and consider the parts.

It took more than three years to successfully create glasses made of "10 special parts."

This is a line that pursues the highest quality glasses that can be produced today by reviewing every single screw.

I got hooked on eyewear a few years ago and have been wearing them almost every day since then.

At first, I was impressed by the overwhelming comfort of the 10eyevan.

・Torx screws and temples made of beta titanium that prevent them from loosening

Beta titanium Torx screws and temples are the starting point of the brand.

It all started with the desire to make this type of screw, and the idea expanded rapidly.

The world's best screw with a six-pointed star design that is difficult to come out (screw collapse).

It is a coexistence of functional beauty that does not easily loosen and beauty of appearance.

The β-titanium temples are made to match this and have the ability to fit a variety of face shapes by taking advantage of the material's properties.

The balance with the end tip that will be introduced later is also perfect.

・Titanium chisel

The beta titanium screws mentioned earlier are easy to tighten and have a locking function.

It seems that the "armor" part that serves as the receptacle can be made as thin as possible.

・Titanium rim with beautiful uniform metal structure

The rims are manufactured by Hiroyasu Maruyama, a craftsman who has been developing them for about 40 years.

"The titanium rim has a special shape with a round instep on the front and an angular shape on the back. Ten patterns of relief are applied to the back of the titanium rim. When manufacturing titanium rims, such as wire drawing and groove processing, we pay attention to the quality of the material. Mr. Maruyama's inquisitive spirit toward the material titanium is condensed into this part, by making full use of his know-how to make the most of it, and by creating original pieces from the machines used to manufacture them.

An ideal shape that is easy to install and replace, yet difficult to remove.

The shell pad attached to it has a smooth texture and an elegant luster, and is made from natural shellfish.
