We tried styling each other. #1

お互いにスタイリングを組んでみました。#1

I bought it "whatever it takes".

To myself when I was in high school.

The look and feel are reversible.

In the end, the appeal of fashion only begins with clothes.

Again, with a reason.

It's boring to just be normal.

Let's go back to my parents' house.

It's conspicuous.

Hello.

This is Sugimura from cliché.

"January goes, February runs away, March leaves."

There is a word that expresses the rush from the beginning of the year.

I think April is the busiest month of the year because of the many changes . .

Without looking back, May has arrived today.

For those who have changed their environment and are not yet accustomed to it,

Some people are already adjusting to their new life and are enjoying it to the fullest.

I think there is a difference in the level of fulfillment of life.

As someone like me who spends most of my life on clothes,

The more extreme the temperature difference is, the more you want to change your clothes. I want to have fun.

It's not that I'm tired of the clothes I have now, but

There are times when you want to change your mood by changing your clothes.

I want to be like that person I admire.

I want to wear different clothes and walk around town with a fresh feeling.

However, you may need the courage to take a step forward to show yourself differently than usual.

If so, let's borrow someone's help.

All you have to do is make your own.

So, I decided to swap the clothes of Kinoshita and Sugimura , two people who see each other almost every day .

Since we know each other's clothing circumstances and tastes, we are well aware of clothes that look good on us and our tastes.

However, when I look at it from a bird's-eye view, I feel like it would look even better if I looked at it from above.

Wouldn't it be possible to create a new atmosphere by combining styles with each other?

This is an experimental blog, but this time I will be styling Kinoshita on the Kinoshita mannequin.

cantate "Shoulder Tote Bag" ¥66,000 (TAX IN)

A 3-piece combination of denim shirt, chino pants, and safari jacket.

Adult and casual styling.

Just like the clothes I always wear,

Just by changing the person wearing it, the way it looks can change so much.

We both laughed and were moved by how fresh it was than we expected.

There are 3 new points.

・He is showing his inner shirt.

・MILK color jacket.

・CAMEL belt.

If Kinoshita were to wear a loose-fitting shirt and a compact jacket, he would probably always tuck it in to balance it at the waist.

That is prohibited this time.

Layering as shown in the photo gives a moderate amount of looseness and gives a simple outfit a mature look.

Kinoshita has been loving MILK-colored pants lately, so the jacket on the group should look good on her as well.

As I expected, it has an intellectual atmosphere.

The person himself has always wanted a CAMEL belt, so we included it.

I also use the same Ribbon Belt,

The bridle leather was hard at first, but when I showed him how the wax had absorbed it and softened it, he seemed to be hitting the desired meter.

We did not exchange shoes and accessories because the sizes did not match each other.

I would have worn MAHOGANY colored boots, but I ended up wearing my own Adidas instead.

Thanks to this, I was able to discover a new sense of balance by cushioning my sneakers with my chinos.

m's braque "QUILTED MESH REVERSIBLE MA-1" ¥92,400 (TAX IN)

ROTOL "BASIC SHIRT" ¥35,200 (TAX IN)

cantate "Denim 1955 Trousers" ¥51,700 (TAX IN)

cantate "Ribbon Belt (Bridle Leather)" ¥44,000 (TAX IN)

Rios of Mercedes "Harness Latigo Cowboy -Roper Style-" ¥220,000 (TAX IN)

Styling using m's braque's MA-1, which has a strong impression of being a personal item.

I was worried that wearing my usual attire might ruin the project, but I was relieved by the different atmosphere than usual.

I tried changing the texture of the shirt and the size of the denim.

Normally, I would choose The Shirt by cantate, which has a beautiful texture, but I changed it to a relaxed linen shirt.

I erased Kinoshita's usual "glamorous beauty" and brought out the "uncouth beauty" that I love.

The theme is modern country.

I also went down one size in denim from 32 to 30.

There is a strong impression that they wear loose-fitting pants, not just denim.

What I would recommend is a snug fit rather than a loose fit.

Ever since he started wearing ties, he seems to have reconsidered his clothing size, preferring relatively compact clothing such as jackets and shirts.

It's unthinkable since he used to say, "Big size is justice."

I would be happy if this project would increase the number of options for pants that fit just the right size.

Rios is at my feet. As soon as you put on your boots, Kinoshita's essence becomes stronger, so it is important to create a connection between the clothes and the person.

Lastly, create a style that combines what you already have and what you want right now, a mixture of your dreams.

CORAL colored shirt, INDIGO flare denim,

Complete with summer knit and baseball cap.

The result is a refreshing and soft atmosphere that makes him look like a good young man.

I love cardigan-type knits, and washing them repeatedly will make them fluffier and look better.

I plan to wear it as my main cover-up from now on.

I'm hooked on the fluffiness of this knit, the smooth luster of the Arashan cashmere, and the volume that can be worn even in the summer, and I'm starting to want a crew neck too.

I just took advantage of the dress-up project to try out the clothes I wanted, but it's still good.

The theme is "Stylish holiday date."

It is clear that CORAL colored shirts look different on different people.

When I wear it, I feel like I look younger,

When Kinoshita wears it, it has a wide range of colors that gives off a mature atmosphere.

Flare denim is size 28.

I'm slender and have long legs, so the perfect size suits me.

It's a waste to just wear thick pants...

I hope this project will give you an opportunity to reconsider your pants size. (Second time)

With the above three stylings, Kinoshita's mannequin part is complete.

When I tried changing clothes freely without any restrictions,

Out of the 3 styles, 2 were paired with denim pants.

I can clearly see that I am addicted to denim on a regular basis.

It was a good opportunity to reflect on my own clothes.

There are many discoveries,

A casual way to wear sneakers with chinos.

Changes in impression with and without a hat.

The practicality of CAMEL belt, etc.

I was able to notice things that I might have overlooked if I just chose clothes as usual, so I feel like I have a broader range of clothing options in the future.

This project was a learning experience.

While I was thinking about clothes, I remembered something that Kinoshita had said on his blog before.

"Fashion begins with imitation."

Establishing your own style and sticking to it is cool and cool, but

You also need to be flexible and constantly try to incorporate information from your surroundings.

I only wear the brands and items that I like, which is true for me too.

If you become opinionated, your perspective will be narrowed and the enjoyment of clothes will be cut in half.

Try taking it in with a soft head.

You'll be able to see what's 100% beyond what you thought it would be.

After all, the power that clothes have is enormous and unfathomable.

Next time, I'll switch it up and send you the Sugimura mannequin version where Kinoshita styles me.

Will I be wearing class leggings?
