Actually, before I discovered these 10 eyevan glasses, I wore another brand, too.
Until then, glasses were just glasses.
They were something I wore simply because I couldn't see without them.
But after discovering 10 eyevan, my way of thinking changed.
This is a “tool.”
They became one of my important work tools, alongside the stationery I love and my Leica camera.

“They loosen no matter how many times I tighten them”──there's a proper reason for that problem.
If you've worn glasses for a long time, I think you'll relate.
Have the screws on your hinges ever come loose?
Even if you tighten them again, they'll be loose again the next day.
That's because the different “coefficients of friction” between the frame and screw metals cause the screw to wear down through opening, closing, and vibration while walking.
In other words, once they've loosened (or been worn down), they're no longer functioning.
But with 10 eyevan, they won't budge no matter how many years you use them.
The frame and screws are made of the same β-titanium, and they're even Torx screws like those used in iPhones.

A continuous stream of “Seriously? Really? No way!”
For someone like me, who has worn glasses continuously since childhood, 10 eyevan brought one surprise after another.
At first, I was honestly skeptical.
To Mr. Morimoto, a familiar face at the events,
Even when I was told, “10 eyevan will solve all those problems for you,” I thought, “No way, surely that's impossible…”
But when we met again six months later and he asked me, “How are they?”, it suddenly hit me.
Huh? I wasn't having any problems.
If anything, they still look brand new even though I use them every day.
That's actually an incredible thing.

As its brand name suggests, 10 eyevan has “10 parts.”
But it's not merely a specification.

I've met him many times, but he talks more about clothes than glasses.

If anything, I almost think they designed this screw before the glasses themselves.
■ Titanium RIM
A special rim wire, carefully pressed after changing the mold over and over.
On the inside is a tiny pattern that can only be seen by looking closely.
A glasses person can't see without them once they take them off. What a freak. (That's a compliment.)
■ CR39 2 Base Curve Lens
Even as “fashion glasses,” they aren't dummy lenses from the start.
They come with properly high-quality lenses as standard, so you can put them on and leave the store wearing them.
■ Shell Shaped Hinge & Shell Pad
Even with my metal allergy, I can use them with confidence thanks to the shell nose pads.
They sit comfortably against the skin and look elegant, too.
They gradually wear down with use, but that's part of their appeal.

I do that too.

10 eyevan glasses aren't showy.
But the more you look, the more refined and pure they seem.

It's not excessive, yet it's genuinely beautiful.

Something with a purpose, such as protecting the body or regulating body temperature.
eyevan has various labels, but this line alone is completely a “tool.”
Tension, specifications, comfort, weight──
Their level of perfection for everyday use is in a class of its own.
Glasses made on the premise of “being used for a long time.”
I know of no other glasses this wonderful.
