His character—an outlaw with humor and intelligence—comes through in this distinctive color, where pink is added to red.
A color that is passionate and powerful, yet carries a certain softnessThat is Butch, through and through.
The upper uses supple, thick combination-tanned calfskin.
Craftsmen have run precise stitching by hand, shaping these with the sharpest pointed toe in the Rios lineup.
The intentionally comfortable heel, neither too tall nor too narrow, gives the feet a clean appearance and pairs beautifully with denim and slacks.

Yes, this is a golden pair inspired by the legendary gunslinger──Sundance Kid.
By combining suede and smooth leather in an in-between shade of camel and mustard, we created a contrast of light and shadow.
The image of Sundance racing across the West, kicking up dust beneath the sunA presence that seems to distill it directly into color.
The softly napped suede brings warmth, while the smooth leather carries a composed sheen, reflecting his dual nature.
The raised low-profile toe, reminiscent of engineer boots, and the stable heel provide confidence both on horseback and while walking around town.
As time passes, the color deepens, and the boots grow brighter while blending into the wearer’s life.
It isn’t merely a flashy gold, but rather “gold that grows more trustworthy with every experience.”
I would normally replace the soles with crepe soles or something similar, but for these two pairs in particular, I’m thinking of wearing them with the leather soles as they are.
If I ever have them resoled, it will be with leather soles again. I can already picture them that way.

Though opposites, the two were always together.
These two colors are what happens when that relationship is distilled directly into boots.

“Hey, let’s go to Australia.”
Butch answers with a laugh.
“That’s right. Butch, we’ll shoot our way toward tomorrow!”
